PTFE vascular graft

VascuGraft PTFE vascular prostheses areconstructed of expanded poly-tetra-flour-ethylene (PTFE) material to form a microporous vascular implant with an advanced structure: V-shaped running through pores, pore size 60µm outside and 20µm inside. VascuGraft PTFE features a uniquely flexible, kink-resistant design that is sufficient porous to encourage cellular in-growth, yet offers maximum protection against blood loss, suture pullout, tearing or delamination. VascuGraft PTFE's technically advanced architecture also provides maximum protection againstkinking or twisting of the prosthesis following implantation. Helix supported grafts include a removable, continuous spiral PTFE monofilament for additional compression resistance. Tapered, short taper and stepped taper configurations are available for use in special hemodynamic conditions.

Advantages

  • V-shaped, running through pores promote healing
