Now with over 39 years of presence in the country, and with more than 600 sales and service employees, the company presents a diverse approach to patient care, offering exceptional services in dialysis treatments, and cutting-edge healthcare products such as infusion solutions and devices, sutures, surgical instruments, value added drugs, regional anesthesia, hemodialysis machines and disposables, and clinical nutrition.

In more than three decades of sharing expertise in the Philippines, B. Braun has successfully established itself as a reliable partner and provider of health care products and services.

In 2007, we have made our mark in the industry with the achievement of One Billion Peso Sales, which propelled us to the second top spot in the local medical supplies industry.

As a multinational company, B. Braun has benefited from the international exposure and worldwide competitiveness of B. Braun Melsungen AG, one of the world's largest suppliers of healthcare products. Today, B. Braun offers innovation, safety, and convenience in various therapies and indications with its wide product portfolio: sutures; infusion solutions and devices; disposable syringes; surgical instruments; hemodialysis machines and disposables; clinical nutrition; wound, stoma, and diabetic care.

From a small operation, B. Braun has flourished over the years in the Philippines.

B. Braun Medical Supplies, Inc. registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and became one of the principals of Zuellig Pharma Corporation, the country’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device distribution company.

The company started operations in Makati City, with very few employees and one operating division, selling sutures and disposables.

1986

B. Braun opened its IV fluids division.

1986-1989

B. Braun saw steady growth in the 80s, with the addition of the Biotech and Aesculap divisions.

2002

The Philippine Renal Care, Inc. (PRCI) a wholly owned subsidiary of B. Braun Medical Supplies, Inc., was established.

2007

PRCI became B. Braun Avitum Philippines, Inc.

The achievement of one-billion-peso sales launched B. Braun Philippines to the second top spot in the local medical supplies industry.

2016

B. Braun marks its 30th years in the Philippines
