A significant milestone in B. Braun Philippines’ ESG journey, the Green Legacy Mission highlights the company’s commitment to driving sustainable environmental and social impact through responsible action and community partnerships.
On 17 July 2026, B. Braun Philippines (BBPH) took a significant step forward in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) journey with the launch of its first-ever Green Legacy Mission. More than a tree-planting activity, the initiative reflects a long-term commitment to environmental restoration, community engagement, and sustainable action.
Through a three-year partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Forest for Life (DENR-FFL) Program, BBPH aims to plant 6,250 native trees and help restore 10 hectares of land. This government-recognized collaboration demonstrates the company's dedication to creating meaningful and lasting environmental impact beyond healthcare.
The initiative has already delivered encouraging results. A total of 500 native saplings were planted across one hectare of land, contributing to biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration. The activity highlighted the value of collaboration and the positive impact that can be achieved when individuals and organizations work together toward a common goal.
Beyond its environmental benefits, the Green Legacy Mission supports the long-term care and maintenance of the planted trees through partnerships with local communities. By encouraging shared responsibility and stewardship, the initiative helps create lasting benefits for both people and the environment.
As part of its broader ESG commitment, B. Braun continues to champion initiatives that promote sustainability, strengthen communities, and create positive change. The successful launch of the Green Legacy Mission marks the beginning of a growing legacy that extends beyond healthcare—one that helps restore ecosystems, empowers communities, and contributes to a more sustainable future for generations to come.
